Daniel Fernandez

Daniel Fernandez a visual artist working in photography, video, installation, and social practice. Through field-based research, his work examines contemporary agricultural economies and their historical formations, operating within visual anthropology as a framework. He has presented work at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, Chicago, IL; Dittmar Gallery, Evanston, IL; and SITE Galleries, Chicago, IL. He has also presented research lectures and symposia for the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Chicago, IL; and Duke University, Durham, NC. He lives and works in Chicago, IL.
